The following is a guest blog post by Frank Gullo, Brand and Business Innovation Manager at Superior Group, and member of Social Media Club Buffalo.
Eric Majchrzak and Emily Burns from Freed Maxick’s Marketing Department presented to members of Social Media Club of Buffalo (SMC Buffalo) on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 in Buffalo, NY. SMC Buffalo is a local chapter of a national organization dedicated to media literacy, promoting social media tools and technologies, sponsoring events and networking activities, providing opportunities for professional development and collaboration, and reaching out to local business and the community.
Eric and Emily presented about the success of two recent Freed Maxick’s marketing campaigns – the Digital billboard project that successfully integrated billboard advertising, community relations, social media, and a lead generation campaign that used inbound and outbound marketing channels to drive visitors to a page on Freed Maxick’s web site.
As evidenced by the conversation and questions that emerged during the presentation and that were posted afterwards on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook, SMC Buffalo members really appreciated the opportunity to engage with Freed Maxick’s marketers and learn why they did what they did, what was most challenging, and what surprised them.
