During my career at RIT, I learned the importance of building and developing a professional network. Once I established my credentials, I began to leverage those resources for the benefit of my career and of those around me. By positioning itself as the leader in the local accounting market, Freed has given me the opportunity to sell our services knowing we will provide excellent fulfillment. This allows me to achieve one my goals of developing new business and being a well-rounded accountant.

Coming out of college, I set a personal goal to continually develop my career and learn as much as I could. The Firm's diverse client base allows me to work with a variety of companies on numerous projects. Freed has also afforded me the opportunities to learn from the management team's past experiences, do technical research, pursue an appropriate level of training, and take on a larger role in my engagements.

The management team has given me direct feedback on almost every engagement I work on, providing me with clear and concise guidance on how to maintain my strengths and improve upon my weaknesses.

What do I like most about working here? There is no definitive reason why I enjoy working here. Rather, it is a combination of workplace environment, career advancement opportunities, work/life balance, and continuous learning. The workplace environment fosters collaboration, as the partners and senior managers are always available if needed. This experience has helped broaden my technical knowledge as well as my knowledge of the business environment in which we operate.
